Pathway Surface
Replacement at JJ Plaus Park

The Pathway Surface Replacement at JJ Plaus Park for the City of Mississauga involved enhancing the park’s infrastructure with a new pier timber deck, edge toe rail and rub rail replacement, sandblasting and power washing of concrete and railings, concrete paving and caulking, decorative stonework, replacement of metal pier ladders, and the installation of a cast-in-place sheet pile cap.

 

These upgrades revitalized the pathways and pier, improving the park's durability and community appeal.

Nith River Promenade, Trail, and Lighting Enhancements

The Nith River Promenade, Trail, and Lighting Enhancements for the Township of Wilmot transformed the area along the Nith River with a new retaining wall, creek bank rehabilitation, and stream stabilization through major revetment work.

 

Additional features included concrete and asphalt paving, an armourstone retaining wall, softscaping, seeding, site furnishings, and the installation of new lighting standards to illuminate the promenade.

 

The project provides a durable, visually appealing, and sustainable space for public enjoyment.

Lakeland Drive Major Maintenance & Slope Stabilization Project

The Lakeland Drive Major Maintenance and Slope Stabilization Project for the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority included significant excavation and the installation of a Sierra Scape soil retention wall to stabilize the slope.

 

Key components included ESC measures, tree clearing, precise grading, and a temporary access ramp for heavy machinery.

 

The project also involved the installation of a 40-meter chain link fence, delivering a secure and effective solution for slope and environmental stability.

Construction of Hammill Park

The Construction of Hammill Park for the City of Guelph created a vibrant recreational space featuring site preparation, sub-drainage systems, water service, and electrical lighting installations. Key park features included engineered wood fiber safety surfacing, asphalt pathways, concrete paving, a shade structure, site furnishings, park signage, and a pollinator garden.

 

The project was completed with sod restoration and new tree planting, creating an inviting and sustainable environment for the community.

Construction of Phase 2 of the David Tomlinson Nature Reserve

Phase 2 of the David Tomlinson Nature Reserve for the Town of Aurora enhanced access and environmental preservation in a forested area. The work included granular surface trails, FRP-framed boardwalks with helical pile foundations, armourstone retaining walls, gabion-lined swales, culverts, and dewatering efforts.

 

Restoration efforts involved planting trees and shrubs, seeding, and installing site furnishings such as post-and-wire fencing and P-gates.

 

The project reflects a commitment to creating accessible natural spaces while preserving the environment.

Banks Creek Embankment Stabilization Construction

The Banks Creek Embankment Stabilization Construction for the Town of Innisfil improved creek stability and environmental integrity with the installation of seven stone revetment structures and two Envirolok bag embankment structures.

 

The work included ESC measures, tree protection fencing, clearing and grubbing, access road construction, cofferdam installations, fish rescues, excavation, grading, and site restoration with tree planting.

 

These efforts provided an effective stabilization solution for Banks Creek while safeguarding its ecological balance.
